Monthly Tasting Banquet – £50 per person

You can taste a wide selection of Shustoke Barn’s favourites accompanied by a number of our wines to help you make the perfect choice for your big day! These tastings are held at two of our sister venues in Gloucestershire.

The evening starts at 7.30pm, so we recommend getting there by 7.15pm to avoid delaying the evening for the other guests.

Menu

The menus are made up of a number of dishes served at the Cripps wedding venues. The evenings will be banquet style with all guests seated on large tables at either Cripps Barn or Stone Barn, both in Gloucestershire. A selection of wines will be available to try, including Prosecco and Grand Cru Champagne, as well as our most popular whites and reds. You can download the menus below;

We attended the tasting banquet at the New Inn to help us make our menu choices for our wedding and to get a sense of the different food and wine options available. We had a great evening and found it very helpful, informative and lots of fun. The food was delicious and really helped us narrow down our choices for our day. The sommelier was on hand to guide us through an excellent selection of wines, giving us tips on what worked well with the different menu choices and helping us make a final selection. We would recommend the evening to any couple looking to get married at Cripps Barn.

We attended a fantastic tasting banquet at The New Inn pub in preparation for selecting our wedding menu. We sampled a large variety of their delicious canapés, starters, mains and desserts and with expert help from their sommelier and friendly staff we were able to refine our food and drink choices months in advance – one huge job ticked off our wedding check-list and a great relief to now have a true sense of what our big day will bring.

We just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic evening at last week’s tasting at The New Inn – we loved all the food (so actually didn’t help the decision making at all!)

A Massive big thank you to all your staff for making last Saturday such an amazing day for Charlotte & Brad. The venue was absolutely amazing – the many young guests from London were totally blown away by the setting, the ambience, the staff and also the food. A number of guests said to me that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Seriously nothing could have been better and nothing could have been improved. I am sure Charlotte & Brad will be in touch with their thanks and photos for you when they return from honeymoon – but I just wanted to thank you now for making the day everything we could have wanted and more. A special thank you to the manager who collected everything up for us at the end of the evening so we didn’t have to worry about this.
